weddings & feminism are not mutually exclusive.

weddings & feminism are not mutually exclusive.

y'all.

weddings can be problematic as hell.

We know.

We are here to make sure you feel like yourselves on your wedding day, not like cogs in a wedding machine. No cheesy posing, no awkwardness, and no heteronormative, patriarchal bullshit. We care about documenting the intangible realness: the vibe of the day, the way you and your partner look at each other, and the beautiful tiny moments that otherwise go unnoticed.

our favorite people

We work with feminists (or womanists, or humanists, or feminist allies), art and design appreciators, and travelers. Our couples love to read, have a taste for travel and adventure, come from multicultural backgrounds, care about climate change and #BlackLivesMatter, don't care about traditional gender roles, and are bosses at what they do professionally.

Moments & emotions matter

It doesn't feel natural to have a camera in your face all day (unless you're Beyonce). We pride ourselves on helping couples feel comfortable enough to express authentic emotions, so that you end up with photos that are both beautiful and true.

past couples say...

Choosing a queer-friendly, feminist photographer was at the top of our list when it came to wedding vendors. Working with Carly was an absolute dream. She has the most creative ideas and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, which is kind of a big deal because at first we were nervous about someone else being privy to some pretty intimate moments.
