Last month, Allison, Chris and I met up at Tuckahoe Plantation for a slightly-chilly and mostly-cloudy engagement session. Allison and I were introduced by a mutual [feminist] friend and only later realized we live on the same street (Kensington pride)! Other great surprises from the session: we all love (and were wearing) cowboy boots; chickens live on Tuckahoe Plantation; and even though I roll my eyes sometimes at photos of engagement rings on foliage, they can be beautiful:

Tuckahoe was lovely, even though none of the horses there wanted to pose properly for us. Otherwise, the flowers and grounds were gorgeous! This was also the first session I did with my BRAND NEW 35mm 1.4L lens and I'm gonna be honest: I LOVE IT!
