So. I usually kinda suck at this kind of shot (called a "flatlay") but I loved this couple and the planners (@thehiveweddingco) so much that I gave it a try (plus they pulled a Tim Gunn and told me to Make it Work). It helped that I had some delicious props (ie flowers and ribbon from @theproperpetal) and the best helper/cheerleader (hay @lcmacdaniel) so overall I'd call this a win!!

"Thoughts & Prayers" will never be enough, but they don't hurt, especially when delivered so earnestly.

New York will always have a piece of my heart. Did an engagement shoot today with these two fellow NYC ex-pats and was reminded of the magic this city offers. Tomorrow I'm moving on, and even though I'm so beat I can barely keep my eyes open, I'll miss it here. So long, old pal. See ya next time 😘
